Aroma Magic Jasmine Blossom Body Wash: Review

Remember the new year blogger resolution to try new things…well I said brands but I thing we can expand the resolution to things as well. In the past 3 years of blogging the one of the things that I have never reviewed is a shower gel or body washes..yes I can’t believe it myself…because I hoard these like its nobody’s business. Winters is all about delicious fragrances like chocolate and strawberry while in summers I like to try citrusy and floral fragrances. This time my haul for a shower gel began with a floral fragrance….the Aroma Magic Jasmine Blossom Body Wash.

Price: Rs 300 for 500 ml.
The Aroma Magic Jasmine Blossom Body Wash comes in a this huge transparent bottle with a flip top cap. I like the packaging, it is user friendly and sturdy though I am wouldn’t suggest travelling with it because flip top caps have a tendency to create a mess.

One of the major reasons I picked this body wash was that it claims to be paraben and alcohol free. I don’t really to many paraben free products delivering what they claim so I was intrigued to see how this one will perform.
The body wash is has pretty green color and a very runny texture so you have to be a little careful if you don’t want to end up with a handful of product in your loofah. It does take a little while and a little more than usual quantity to lather

The best thing about this body wash is its fragrance. Its not overpowering but you almost feel like you are working with jasmine oil. The not so good thing about it is that the fragrance vanishes in like a minute so by the time I am out of the shower, well there is no trace of any fragrance :(.
I did not see any tan removal or acne reducing action which this product claims however it doesn’t dry out my skin which I have seen happening in some of the paraben free toiletries I have used. I wouldn’t say it moisturises your skin so much so that you can skip the post bath moisturising regime but yes it does a decent job.
Overall, I would say its an average product. I was left a little disappointed because of the fact the fragrance vanishes so soon but yes it definitely makes my bath smell like a spa therapy till the time I am taking a shower. If you are not to big on fragrances that linger than this is a product you should try…for the fragrance that last team…I’ll keep looking 🙂
