DIY: How To Fix Broken Makeup

A few days back , I had reviewed MUA Blusher and told you how mine was breaking into pieces because it fell from my hand while I was unwrapping the package. This is something very usual for a clumsy person like me but it doesn’t mean that it doesn’t hurt to see that beautiful blush or eyeshadow in pieces…obviously I can’t too much about being clumsy so I learnt the trick to fix my broken makeup…the powdered one atleast…and today I am going to share that trick with you πŸ™‚
What you need to have:
Broken makeup πŸ™
Spoon
Rubbing Alcohol ( ask you chemist to give you doctor’s alcohol….that’s what it is commonly known as )

What you need to do:
  • Depending on the size of the blush/ powder or eyeshadow…add 1-3 caps of rubbing alcohol. I added 1 cap of the rubbing alcohol and it enough to make a smooth paste out of almost 2 gms of the blush. Start adding the alcohol in small quantity of you are not able judge how much might be required and then keep adding till you get a smooth paste.
  • Using the spoon, mix the broken makeup with the alcohol to make a smooth paste and flatten it out on the pan.

  • Let it dry over-night and the next day you have your broken makeup all fixed and ready to use.It might not look as pretty as it looked before breaking but then ugly looking makeup is much better than broken makeup :p
