Durga Puja Celebration: Mahaashtami

Mahaashtami is always the most crazy day during the Durga Puja and it became all the more crazy when we decided to visit the pandals in our very own mini Calcutta in Delhi…yes, I am talking about Chittaranjan Park.
Chittaranjan Park or CR Park as its popularly known as is the biggest hub of Durga Puja celebrations in Delhi hosting lakhs of visitors who come to pay obeisance to the mother goddess and her children. There are 8 big puja societies in this area and your pandal hopping is never complete until and unless you have visited these pandals so today decided to visit them but because of Sandhi Puja( I talked about it here last year) there was soo much rush that we could barely visit four of the pandals.

And here’s what I wore today.

Kurti- Biba
Leggings- Biba
Shoes- Lajpat Nagar
I again kept the makeup pretty simple. Just a wash of champagne on the eyes and a little gel liner. Pink blush on the cheeks and pink lipstick on the lips. I am sorry but I was not able to click a close up of the face as by the time I got the chance to click a picture, I was very tired and most of the makeup was gone.

I hope you guys had a great Mahaashtami too πŸ™‚
