Faces Eye Pencil in Forest Green: Review & Swatches

My love for colored liners is far from over and a nice pocket friendly deal really help the process keeping me obsessed. Today I am going to share everything about the Faces Eye Pencil in the shade Forest Green.

Price: Rs 449 for 1.2 gms

The Faces Eye Pencil comes in a black pencil packaging with a plastic cap that is of the same shade as the product. The pencil needs to be sharpened and it is definitely a pet peeve of mine plus the packaging does not come with a sharpener so I have to carry one around. The pencil in general is pretty travel-friendly and easy to use but I so wish it was a roll up packaging.

Product & Texture

The texture of the liner is really creamy so it glides on the lids with ease. The liner does feel a little creamier when applied but it does settle into a more solid finish within few seconds. Once the liner settles, it doesn’t budge and it’s waterproof so you do not have to worry about it fading away.

Coming to the shade, Forest Green is a dark green shade with a very subtle frosty finish. The color works really well with Indian skin tones and you can pair it up with brighter or milder shades to wear it at night or during the day.

Pigmentation & Longevity

The liner is very well pigmented and a single swipe gives a nice color payoff. The color is pretty dark in itself but if you can easily layer it if you like to get a darker shade. I also love wearing it under an eye shadow because it gives a very nice depth to my eye shadow due to its pigmentation.

The staying power is a good 5-6 hours without fading or budging. I have come across so many products lately that claim to be smudge free but this is one of the few exceptions that actually holds up to the claim. I have also used the liner on my water line and I got similar results in terms of the longevity ad pigmentation.

My Experience

I absolutely love this eyeliner and find myself grabbing or it on more occasions than I can count. It stays on pretty much the whole day and it is such a versatile color that I am able to pair it with a variety of lip colors. The liner does not irritate my eye even if I decide to wear it on my waterline.

Final Verdict

Definitely one of the best colored liners I have tried on in a while. I love the shade and the quality is amazing. The only issue I have with the liner is the fact that the packaging forces me to waste the product because I have to sharpen the tip. Overall, definitely try the range if you love liners as much as I do.
