Forest Essentials Revitalising Kashmiri Walnut Gel Scrub: Review

Yes, I am back with another Forest Essentials product review and no it is not sponsored though Forest Essential should sponsor me considering how many of their products I review. But yes, I am going to talk about another product I picked up during my last visit to the Forest Essential store and it is the Revitalising Kashmiri Walnut Gel Scrub

Price: Rs 1095 for 50 gms

Packaging

The Forest Essentials Revitalising Kashmiri Walnut Gel Scrub comes in the signature Forest Essential packaging. The scrub comes in a luxurious looking glass tub packaging, a golden cap and a plastic stopper. Bonus points to the packaging because of the plastic stopper because it prevents the product from getting on the cap but I hate the fact that it doesn’t come with an applicator and I think I have reiterated so many times, I hate putting my finger into tub packagings.

Texture & Product

The scrub has a bit of a runny consistency with a gel-like texture. It reminds me of coffee based scrubs I have used before because of the colour and the exfoliants are very tiny and finely milled. I like how the exfoliants are not too harsh but just abrasive enough to get rid of all the dead skin.

Another thing I love about this product is that it has a citrusy smell and anyone who knows me, knows that I am crazy about the citrusy smell because they just wake me up instantly.

My Experience

I bought this scrub during the winters and never got around to try it. When I finally got around to try it, I was worried it might be a bit too much for the summers but it was not. The fragrance made it absolutely perfect for the hot temperature. The gel-like texture ensures that I do not need too much of the product to clean up my whole face.

My skin feels really clean and smooth I use the scrub. The product doesn’t dry out my skin or make it feel stretchy but I wouldn’t recommend skipping a moisturiser after using the scrub.

It did not irritate my acne or cause any redness. It is a really mild scrub so you can use it twice a week without causing any damage to your skin.

Final Verdict

All in all, I love the Forest Essentials Revitalising Kashmiri Walnut Gel Scrub because it pretty much does everything it claims and more. I get a lot of blackheads during the summers so I take my exfoliation very seriously and this product helps me so much with that. Additionally, it gets rid of all the gunk, the dry skin patches and my skin is all bright, clean and it smells amazing.
