Garnier White Complete Multi Action Fairness Cream & Face Wash: Review

If you follow me on Instagram and Facebook, you would know that I took the 7 day challenge for the Garnier White Complete Multi Action Range that included a cream and a face wash. I am finally done with challenge and after using both the products for a week, I am finally going to share my thoughts about this range.

Price: Cream-  Rs. 150.00 for 40 gms and Face Wash Rs 78 for 50 gm

The cream comes in a white tub packaging while the face wash comes in a white squeezy tube with a flip top cap. I am not a big fan of the tub packaging for hygiene reasons but I like the flexible tube for the face wash. I have carried both products around and caps for both the cream and the face wash stay in place. Basically both products have easy, sturdy and travel friendly packaging.

The face wash is a pearly white in color with a very light creamy texture and has this mild floral fragrance which I love. The face wash did leave my face clean without leaving it dry or stretchy but overall I have mixed feelings about this product as it works well on normal days but as soon as the weather turned a little humid, it did not work atleast for my oily combination skin. I guess it is to mild for my particular skin type because my mother who is blessed with a normal skin loves it so I guess if you are not struggling with an oily t zone, you would like it. Another thing I don’t like about the face wash is that it doesn’t lather and personally I like lather and bubbles.

The cream has a similar color as the face wash. It has a smooth and creamy texture, not very heavy so spreads and gets absorbed very easily and just like the face wash has a mild floral fragrance. It has SPF so  the lazy me skipped applying a sunscreen without feeling guilty. I really like how light the cream is and this light texture is particularly helpful on the humid days when it’s all sweaty and sticky. It gives my skin just the right amount of hydration so I think it might prove to be insufficient if you have dry skin.

In terms of the fairness claim, well I wouldn’t  say I saw a change in my complexion and I obviously hadn’t expected it either because I don’t believe in the fairness claims. However, I did see that my skin looked clear and clean after using the products for a week. My skin did not break, there were no dry patches and my skin had a healthy glow about it so I wouldn’t say I am disappointed.

Overall, I like the products though I like the cream more than the face wash but nonetheless they are good pocket friendly option. I wouldn’t say that the fairness claim is true, but of you read fairness as glow then yes the range wouldn’t disappoint you.
