Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Moisturizing Conditioner: Review

Thanks to the blind test, I completely fell in love with the Garnier Fructis Long and Strong Shampoo, however the conditioner didn’t work to well me and I raided my vanity to find a conditioner that would compliment this amazing shampoo  . And as usual, I came across a bottle of Herbal Essence Hello Hydration Moisturizing Conditioner lying completely forgotten. I started using it again and well I knew I just had to tell you guys about it.

Price: Rs 190

Herbal Essence Hello Hydration Moisturizing Conditioner has this curvy blue colored bottle with a green lid.The lid is not the usual flip open or screw on cap but its mechanism is like that of a see-saw. You need to push it from one end and the lid opens from the other end. I find the packaging a little unreliable when it comes to travelling because a little pressure and the lid opens.

The shampoo has a pale green color and  a thick creamy texture.  It has this really amazing tropical fragrance that instantly reminds you of coconuts and beaches. I love the fragrance and it kind of lingers in your hair for at least a few hours after application. Obviously if you are not a beach person or hate strong smelling products…then this conditioner is not for you.

Even though the conditioner has a thick texture it spreads pretty easily. I have medium length hair and  a small quantity is enough to condition them. This quality has a disadvantage too because in case you end up putting alot of conditioner in your hair, it will weigh them down and you will end up with limp looking hair. You obviously judge the quantity by trial and error so the first time you try it, make sure you take a very little quantity and then keep experimenting with it just to learn how much is required for your hair.

My experience with this conditioner has been really good. I have very frizzy and dry hair and this conditioner just makes them soft and manageable. I don’t even know why I stopped using…well knowing me…I think I just got bored but honestly if you have hair that lacks moisture and looks like big ball of frizz…you will love this conditioner and vice versa if you have oily hair then stay away from this one.
All in all, love this conditioner. Its pocket friendly and soo effective. I would give a 9/10 for frizz, dry and damaged hair. The -1 is for the packaging which so not meant for travelling and I hate to transfer products out their packaging to some other container 🙁
