L.A Girl Pro Conceal HD Concealer in shade Orange: Review and Swatches

I had such an amazing experience with L.A Girl Pro Conceal HD Concealer that I just couldn’t stop before I tried the colored concealers they were offering. Any girl with dark circles or acne marks knows that a colored concealer can do wonders when it comes to getting a flawless base. I am a victim of panda eyes so I have had a long relationship with orange concealers so it was a no brainer for me to pick up the L.A Girl Pro Conceal HD Concealer in shade Orange.

Price: Rs 535 for 8 gms

The L.A. Girl Pro Conceal HD Concealer comes in a transparent squeezable tube with a brush applicator and a screw on cap. There is a small synthetic brush attached to the tube and the product squeezes out of the bottom of the applicator. The packaging pretty much fits in your palm so it is quite travel-friendly and doesn’t take too much space in my makeup bag. I also like the fact that because the tube is transparent so I can see the amount of the product left and the shade I want to use. I like the fact that the applicator is attached but such applicators do end up absorbing a lot of product which is a wastage.

Texture & Product

The concealer has a thick creamy texture which proves to be helpful during application and blending. The only issue I face with this concealer is that it starts drying of very quickly so I have to blend it out within seconds.

The shade Orange Corrector is used to neutralise pigmentation and dark spots. I pretty much ended up looking like a clown the first time I used the concealer but I have learnt how to work with it eventually.

Pigmentation and Longevity

In terms of coverage, the concealer doesn’t disappoint, instead it is really strong so I have to be a little careful when I use it. A pea size drop of the product is more than enough to cover up all my problem areas so I am pretty sure the 8 gms of product is going to last a few months.

The staying power of the concealer is around 5 -6 hours and more if you use a primer. The product doesn’t crease or settle into fine lines if you prep your skin well and apply and blend it out in the correct manner.

My Experience

I have a fair amount of under eye pigmentation, acne marks and discoloration around the mouth area which the concealer helps in countering the same. The orange corrector along with the concealer from the same brand is a match made in heaven and help me achieve that flawless finish hiding away all the pigmented areas on my face.

Final Verdict

Overall, I am in love with this product and thanks to it, I no longer have to worry about looking like a ghost the after a long night. It does take a little bit of practice to work with the corrector but once you learn the technique to blend it out but the effort is worth it. Definitely, recommend this to anyone looking for a good color corrector.
