Longines Presents The New Conquest Classic Collection & Winners Of The “Search for the Oldest Longines Watch in India”

I got the opportunity to attend the event organised to celebrate Longines 135 years of presence in India. The evening was celebrated by awarding the winners of the “Search for the Oldest Longines watch” . In addition to the awards ceremony, the brand that is known for its rich heritage of tradition, elegance and performance also presented a new collection of timepieces, Conquest Classic, a collection specially dedicated to the lovers of equestrian sports.
At the grand evening hosted at the Taj Palace, New Delhi, Longines felicitated the top three winners of the “Search of the Oldest Longines Watch”; a contest that was initiated by the brand in India in the month of June this year. The brand received tremendous support and response from its patrons, with more than a hundred entries received for the contest and all information was sent to Switzerland for an in-depth analysis and verification of each watch and the contest truly revealed the timeless history of the brand, the winner being a watch that was invoiced in 1884.

In addition to the prize giving ceremony, Longines also presented its newest collection at the event – Conquest Classic. A line of watches for both men and women specially produced for equestrian sport enthusiasts. Charles Villoz, Vice President Sales and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Longines Ambassadress of Elegance, walked the ramp flaunting the new timepieces to the audience.
