L’Oréal Paris Skin Expertise Go 360 Clean Deep Cream Cleanser: Review

Thanks to beauty blogging part of this blog, I always have things that I buy but they don’t work for me or I don’t like them much. So whenever my friends and cousins visit….I ask them to raid my stash and take stuff they like….I obviously don’t really mind that because one, it creates space for new stuff…and two…it saves me the pain of holding blog sales which trust me I am very scared of organizing…its just too much effort, chaos and drama  :p
Anyways this time when a friend visited me it was a little different because I got something from her stash. She has this very dry skin that becomes a nightmare in winters and she bought this cleanser which after the first use took away even the little moisture that her skin has. She knows I have this personal oil mine on my face and thought it would help me and out came the bottle of L’Oréal Paris Go 360 Clean Deep Cream Cleanser. Did it work for my skin? Read on to find out 🙂

Price: Rs 399 for 178 ml

The packaging of this cleanser is pretty interesting. It comes in a white plastic bottle with a flip on cap. The thing that fascinated me the most is this cute little pink scrublet which comes with this cleanser.  There is this big hole in the middle of the bottle where the scrublet is attached. The scrublet has a suction back which comes pretty handy when you are trying to dry it after using it.

Coming to the product, L’Oréal Paris Skin Expertise Go 360 Clean Deep Cream Cleanser is a pearly white liquid with a creamy and runny texture. It has this very strong minty fragrance thanks to the menthol in it and the fragrance lingers for a while. The product is not your usual cream based cleanser…it actually lathers up and feels more life a face wash
The good thing about it is that you don’t need to much of the product ….a pea sized drop is enough for the whole face. I take some of the cleanser on the scrublet and scrub my whole face except the area near my eyes. Apart from obvious reason that the area near the eye is very sensitive and I don’t want to take the chance of damaging it with scrublet, the other reason I prevent it from being any where near that area is that it stings my eyes like crazy….I mean its like my eyes are on fire so be careful when you use it.
The effect of the cleanser is kind of extreme. I totally understood why my friend passed it on to me after I used it for the first time…basically it leaves your skin absolutely clean and removes oil unfortunately even the essential amount. Even with my skin type, I couldn’t use it everyday because it was just too harsh.

Having said that, I do love it when I have tortured my skin with excessive makeup and few nights of going to bed without following my CTM routine…one use and it makes my skin feel fabulous. The only thing that I keep in mind after using it is to make sure I follow it with my favorite moisturizer…that’s something you can’t skip after you have cleansed you face with this.
Overall, I have mixed feelings about this one. Its definitely not something you can use everyday but yes that cute little scrublet is one handy tool (I think my friend bought this cleanser just for the scrublet :p). I would recommend it to people with very oily skin.Dry skinned beauties shouldn’t try it…this product is not good for you and for normal and combination oily skin it is a good option for the occasional deep cleansing ritual and for months of monsoon when your skin needs an extra push.
