Lotus Herbals WhiteGlow Skin Whitening & Brightening Micro Emulsion

Hello Girls,
Though I totally love my Neutrogena oil free moisturizer, this time the excessive and extreme cold in Delhi made my skin a tad too dry so I had to look for something else.Thankfully this search was not as long as the previous one and I came across a moisturizer that has a lot rave reviews on the blogosphere. So after trying  it for a while, today I am reviewing Lotus Herbal White Glow Skin Whitening & Brightening Micro Emulsion.

Price: Rs. 245 for 40 ml.
The moisturizer comes in a glass bottle with a metallic cap and a pump dispenser. The packaging looks really good, its sturdy and the biggest benefit of the glass bottle is that you can see how much of the product is left. The disadvantage is, one slip and the bottle will break into pieces ( personal experience…with a new bottle 🙁 ). The pump dispenser definitely makes your life easier, there is no mess and no squeezing out the product at the end, just two pumps and you have enough product to apply on your face and neck.

The texture of the cream is not runny but not too thick as well. It easy spreads and blends and gets absorbed in a jiffy. I did not any skin whitening effect on my skin but it definitely leaves my skin soft and supple. It did not break me out and keeps my skin hydrated all day. There is no major fragrance and top it all it has SPF  25 which saves me from applying an extra layer of sunscreen.

Lets go on to the yay-nay list
  • Sturdy packaging
  • Has a pump dispenser
  • Blends easily and absorbs quickly
  • Doesn’t leave any residue or whitish cast behind
  • Contains SPF 25
  • Keeps skin hydrated all day

  • The product comes in a glass bottle so it can break if you are not careful.
  • Contains parabens
If you have a combination(normal to dry) skin this will work for you but it might prove to be a little to oily for extremely oily skin.
