Lush Mask Of Magnaminty Face and Body Mask: Review

I remember my first luxury skincare product. Still in college, I and had just received my first paycheck for this super boring internship I was doing and after buying some gifts for my parents and sister, I wanted to splurge on myself. I remember walking into the mall straight into the Lush Cosmetics store and buying a bag full of products from them. Unfortunately when I actually started my blog, Lush decided to close all its stores in India.

I have been trying to visit a lush store since the moment I started travelling but somehow I was either in a small town that did not have a lush store or the store was too far away and I would have spent more in travelling to and fro to it than what I would have spent in the store.

This time however, when I was in Hong Kong, there was a Lush store right next to my hotel. Imagine my joy passing the store everyday. I honestly no have this bag full of Lush products and I can’t wait to review all of them. Lets start with the Lush Mask Of Magnaminty Face and Body Mask

Price: $14.95 for 125 gm

The Lush Mask Of Magnaminty Face and Body Mask comes in a classic lush black tub packaging. The packaging is travel-friendly, super sturdy and easy to use. The best part is that the packaging has the name of the person who created the mask which is a detail I really appreciate.

Texture & Product

The pack has a very gritty texture and looks more like a scrub than a face mask but it goes on really well. I use my Vega face pack brush to apply this on a slightly wet face and I have faced no issues in applying it. It is thick so it doesn’t spill or drop all over but smooth enough for me to spread it on my face without too much effort.

The product has the best fragrance in the world. I love mint based products particularly in summers because they leave you feeling all cool and fresh. Mint is an active ingredient in the mask so the fragrance is all natural.

My Experience

Since I started using this mask, if anyone complains about spots or acne this is the first thing I recommend from Lush.  The mask not only leaves my skin feeling fresh & properly cleansed but continuous use has helped to calm down my acne and spots.

This is a deep cleansing facial mask made from clay and fresh peppermint. The exfoliating particles help in removing debris from pores while exfoliating dry skin. The mint helps in calming redness and leaving your skin feeling fresh. So it is basically a one thing does all kind of a product.

Final Verdict

I absolutely love this product and I am going to be really sad when I finish with it. It is one of the best mud masks I have used in a while. It works like magic on my acne prone oily combination skin.
