Matrix Biolage Hydratherapie Hydra Creme Intense Moisture Hair Masque: Review

Hello Girls,

I am very lazy when it comes to hair care. I hate oiling them, I hate applying heena and egg well we all know what a big mess that is. And then to add on to lack of care there is the torture of hair styling so basically if you want words to describe my hair, they would be dry and fizzy 🙁

Matrix is one of the few brands that suits me and thus when I was suggested to try out the Matrix Hydra Creme Intense Moisture Hair Masque, I bought without hesitation. I have used it for around 4 months now and now I am ready to share my thoughts with all of you.

What the company has to say about the product:

Special complex of silk amino acids, wheat germ oil and botanical extracts of lemongrass, algae and sage moisturizes and improves elasticity while minimizing porosity. Leaves hair soft, conditioned, more manageable and radiating healthy shine. Biolage Hydra-Creme can be used alone or customized with a Biolage Vital Repair Treatment for intense cuticle repair

Price: Rs. 470 for 490 gms.

The masque comes in a big jumbo sized white tub with a purple cap. The size makes it a little difficult to carry it around and yes the tub packaging is a little unhygienic.

The texture of the masque is creamy. It looks really thick , but it spreads easily on damp hair and once applied it does not drip which is a big plus point for people like me who are super restless and hate siting waiting for the hair mask to dry. It has the typical fruity smell that is there for all the matrix products.

I have been using this product for approximately four months now and I apply it once in two weeks.  Every application is followed by a good hair day and loads and loads of compliments about how nice my hair look. I have also noticed reduction in the overall dryness of my hair. However my sister faces split end problems which doesn’t seem to get resolved by using this. So I guess it pretty much works for as it clearly says getting rid of dryness and retaining moisture.
Though I do hate the packaging and the fact that its full of chemicals, it is still something that works really well for my hair and has become kind of a permanent part of my hair care regime.
If you are looking for something to help with dryness in your hair, I definitely recommend this to you however that is all it does so don’t expect it getting rid of dandruff or split ends and other hair issues.

Have you used this hair masque?
Did you like it? Did you hate it?
