Miss Claire Eyeshadow in Shade 0453: Review & Swatches

Who doesn’t love a good bargain? I sure do and I love to discover brands that give me the desired results without breaking my bank. One such brand that I discovered during my trip to Impressions is Miss Claire. I bought a few products to try out the brand but the first product that started my love for this brand was the Miss Claire Eyeshadow in the shade 0453.

Price: Rs 120 for 2 gms

The Miss Claire Eyeshadow packaging is really cute plastic tub packaging with a transparent screw on cap. I love the fact that I can see the color through the lid because it helps to locate the color among the other shades I got from the range. The tub is tiny so it doesn’t take a lot of space and is easy to carry around.

Product & Texture

The eyeshadow has a finely milled powder with a smooth texture. It also has specks of tiny gold shimmer without making the texture grainy and goes on really smooth but has a few fall outs

The shade 0453 is a beautiful teal with blue undertones. Even though it is on the cooler side but looks great on my wheatish skin tone (NC 41). The golden shimmer does add a little bit of warmth to this eyeshadow making it suitable for most Indian skin tone.

Pigmentation and Longevity

The product has a really good color intensity but I feel it works better with a damp brush. The damp brush trick also minimizes the fall outs so it’s basically a win-win. Staying power of the product is decent as well. It lasts on its own for about 4 hours without fading or dreading but you can extend its life by wearing it over a nice eyeshadow primer as well.

My Experience

The Miss Claire Eyeshadow goes on really well and blends like a dream. Even with a damp brush the product doesn’t look patchy and the golden tinge allows you to pair it up with a lot of other shades.

This product is really easy to work with and gives a nice satin finish. I love the fact that unlike some of its expensive counterparts, this blends well with both brushes and fingers.

Final Verdict

Looking at the price these retail at, I would say that these are pretty much the most good quality eyeshadow you can find in the market. They are affordable, well pigmented and long lasting eyeshadows and to add to that, the range has a huge variety of shades which are in matte, shimmery and frosty finish. I for one am eyeing a few more shades I want to pick up for this wedding season and would recommend you to do the same.
