MUA Lipsticks: Swatches and Review

Hey Ladies,
A very happy new year to all you beautiful ladies out there.I hope you guys had a great new year’s eve !!!!!
With new year comes new hope , new passion and new opportunities and I am so looking forward  to all these things in 2013.
I am not much of resolution person…the reason is very simple…I don’t like starting my new year thinking and deciding about i will do for the next few months or the whole year…I just feel it would restrict me..taking life as it comes and doing things at the spur of the moment.
Anyways I don’t want to bore you too much with my random chatter and get to the point….So today I am going to review the 3 MUA lipsticks that I got in my December haul.
MUA has become quite the beauty blogger’s darling these days…well why wouldn’t it, considering the price and the quality you get at that price, its a crime if you don’t splurge on this brand.

Though I wanted to get more shades, but I couldn’t because I bought these on the last day of a free shipping offer and as a result half the shades were out of stock. Anyways the shades that I got were

MUA Lipstick in Shade 4 ( a matte baby pink shade)
MUA Lipstick in Shade 5 ( a shimmery baby pink shade)
MUA Lipstick in Shade 14 ( a peachish orange shade)
The black beauties
Shade 4
Shade 5

Shade 14

Price: 1 Pound * big grin*
The lipsticks come in a simple black plastic packaging with MUA embossed on it and the base is transparent which allows you to see the shade.  The packaging is quite sturdy so you don’t have to worry about the cap opening when you are carrying it in your purse or clutch.
The quality of the lipstick is really considering the price. They do not dry out my lips or settle in fine lines. The pigmentation is decent at least for the three shades that I have. They do not bleed and have a staying power of 3 to 4 hrs and even after that they leave a faint tint behind. Another thing that I absolutely love about the lipsticks is the faint vanilla smell that they have.
The issue that faced with these lipsticks was the fact that buying them can be a little tricky. Most shades don’t have names and the numbers associated with the shades keep changing, so looking for accurate swatches online can be difficult.  Also they are not available in India( I think there is a MUA store in Mumbai..not too sure) as such though they can be ordered online from MUA website.
Here are the swatches:

Have you tried MUA lipsticks?
Any suggestion on shades that I should get the next time?
