MUA Professional Mosaic Blush in English Rose

Hey everyone πŸ™‚
I am going through a MUA phase these days.
I spend hours browsing through their website and looking for swatches and reviews of the products I like.
The result of one such browsing was the stuff that I got in my December haul. I have already reviewed the lipsticks that I got and today I am going to talk abut the beautiful mosaic blush.
Price: Β£ 2.50

The blush comes in a simple yet sleek black packaging with a transparent cover. The packaging might look flimsy but it is quite sturdy so you don’t need to worry about it opening or breaking when you are carrying it around.

The blush is presented as a mosaic of different shades ( such a treat for the eye πŸ˜€ ). The mosaic is dominated by pink shades but it also has a light lilac shade in it. All the shades are shimmer based so if you are a matte blush kind of a girl then I don’t think this blush is for you.
Now if I talk about the pigmentation, well the pigmentation is definitely a little disappointing.  I was hoping that it would give me a nice medium pink shade but it shows up more as a lighter version of baby pink or oyster pink. The staying power is 2-3 hours and though it is in a pressed powder form there is still a lot of fallouts during application.

I usually run my blush brush all over the pan so that I have all the colors as the individual section of colors in the mosaic are two small and its difficult for me to pick a single color. The shade that I get after mixing all the shades doesn’t really show up on me to well so i have been using it as a highlighter and it works great. It is full of shimmer so it gives an amazing effect to my cheeks when the light hits and the light tint of pink gives a very natural glow to my face.
So final words, not a great blush but definitely works as a highlighter. I am not too dissapointed that it did not work for me well because it was not really something to expensive.

    ooh..u meant that packaging..
there is definitely a risk, but they do bubble wrap every product properly and even the envelope has a bubble wrap layer inside.
nothing got damaged even though the stupid post man squeezed the whole package into my teeny-tiny letter box…:P
