My Favourite Hair Mask For Winters

I am no Rapunzel when it comes to hair…on a bad hair day…well my hair resemble somewhat to the hair of a scarecrow and obviously everything just gets worse in winter….my dandruff accentuates which leads to itchy scalp, hair fall increases, I have a frizzy mess on my hands so basically I have to handle every hair problem in the book as soon as the temperature drops πŸ™
During this trying time for my hair, a very simple home remedy that comes to my rescue is an egg mask. Its not really your regular whisk your egg yolk kind of mask…I do behave like a mad scientist when I prepare this and add so much in it
What you need:
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp. Honey
  • 1 tbsp. Extra virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp. Castor Oil
  • 1 tbsp. Almond Oil
  • 1 tbsp. Lemon Juice

What you need to do:

Mix  everything and apply….simple πŸ™‚
and when you apply it…don’t use a brush…pull up your sleeves …get your hands dirty and take your time and apply it all over your scalp and hair.
Also I did read people suggesting applying a hot towel on this…don’t do it…you will end up with scrambled egg on your head. Even when you wash your hair…never use hot or water because you might just end up cooking the eggs….always wash your hair with normal water.
I use it once in two weeks and it pretty much helps my hair to remain sane for at least a week. I know the smell of the eggs is  pretty annoying but no pain no gain ladies :p
Have you tried this hair mask?
