P.A.C Cosmetics Powder Blush in Shade 06: Review and Swatches

Finally getting around to testing some makeup after giving my skin a bit of break and the first thing I decided to review was PAC Cosmetics Powder Blush in the shade 6. I have been hearing so0 much about PAC cosmetics in the past year and it took the blogosphere by a storm so I was excited to get my hands on some of the stuff and test them out. Read on to find out if I loved it or my first experience with the brand was kind of a dud.

Price: Rs 600 for 12 gms

The PAC Cosmetics Powder Blush comes in a black plastic pan packaging with a lid that is half transparent and half opaque. The packaging is sturdy and travel-friendly; however, I would have loved it more if it came with a mirror.

The blush is in a pressed powder form and you must swirl your brush in the pan to get some color. The texture is finely milled but there are a lot of fall outs when you use a brush. The blush goes on very well and I could blend it without too much effort. The texture is quite smooth so there is no patchy finish once I blend it.

The shade I got is called shade 6 and it is a peach colored blush with very faint pink undertones. The pink undertones do not show up on me much but they do on lighter skin tones. I love the shade and it has a bit of a frosty finish on my skin so I when I wear this blush, I try to go for negligible highlight or no highlight at all. The shade is on the warmer side so it works so well with my skin tone and it is one of my go-to shade when it comes to Indian wear.

This blush is soo pigmented and it is one of the softer shades in the range so I can’t even imagine how pigmented the darker shades are. I must be very judicious while using the blush so that I do not end up looking like a clown. The blush stays on for 3 hours or so but I do have to touch up the color after that. I am pretty sure that the blush will stay on a bit longer when the weather becomes a little better.

Overall, I love the shade and my first experience with the brand were excellent. I have been using this blush a lot and I have barely made a dent in the pan so even though it’s a bit on the pricey side, it will last forever. I am looking forward to trying a few more shades from this range and I would suggest it to anyone looking for a good powder blush.
