The Body Shop Strawberry Body Mist: Review

I am usually more of a perfume person but lately I am finding them a little strong and because I don’t like deos, I went for the next best option – Body Mists. I had The Body Shop Strawberry Body Mist was lying around with me for quite a while and I finally got around to try it. A little disclaimer before I start the post is that this is the first time I am reviewing a fragrance based product on the blog and hopefully it will cover all the aspects but in case I miss something you want to know about the product…do not shy away from pointing it out by commenting below :).

Price: Rs 795 for 100 ml

The Body Shop Strawberry Body Mist comes in a transparent glass bottle with a pump to spray the product. I am always scared around glass bottles because they are just super accident prone. I would have preferred a plastic bottle for the packaging because they obviously lighter than their glass counterparts and more travel friendly.

In terms of the fragrance, the strawberry body mist has a very sweet strawberry fragrance. I have used products from the strawberry range from TBS and the mist definitely has a different fragrance then the rest of the range. I am usually not to fond of sweet fragrance and prefer something with a musky or citrusy note but surprisingly I kind of like this product. It is definitely a sweet fruity fragrance but its not over the top.

As the fragrance is on the stronger side, the staying power is almost similar to a decent perfume. It stays on for a good 4-5 hours and for the first two hours the fragrance is pretty strong followed by which it does become a little softer and fades away gradually.

All in all, I am pretty happy with the mist apart from the glass bottle packaging and to be honest I am kind of addicted to this fragrance right now. I am quite happy with the staying power and even though it is not my usual choice of fragrance, it turned out to be surprisingly good. I am totally looking forward to trying the other mists offered by TBS ince this one gets over but yes you need to try this if you are into sweet and fruity fragrances.
