The Body Shop Vineyard Peach Cream Body Scrub

Hi ladies,
Raise your hand if you went into a mall with a friend thinking all I will do is look and by the time you come out of the mall…you have more shopping bags than your hand…( FYI…both my hands are waving at you πŸ˜‰ ) I had exactly this though in my mind when I entered The Body Shop with my friend ( how naive of me πŸ˜€ …and came out with this big tub of peachiness in my shopping bag and a big grin on my face.
The Body Shop Vineyard Cream Body Scrub is part of the TBS’s Vineyard Peach special edition body care range, which includes a Body butter, Body scrub and Shower gel. This range was launched around Christmas and I am not kidding, it really smells like fresh peaches…yumm!!!

Price: Rs. 998 for 200 ml

Coming back to the scrub, lets see what the company has to say about it
This gently exfoliating body scrub smells like freshly picked peaches. It lifts away dead skin cells and leaves skin peachy-soft.
  • Lifts away dead skin cells
  • Stimulates skin surface microcirculation
  • Leaves skin feeling softer and smoother
  • Delicate peach scent

The scrub comes in a very heavy plastic tub packaging. I do prefer this packaging as it means I can use every drop of the product ( well its TBS you know, the products are amazing but not exactly pocket friendly). Just like for any other TBS product, the packaging for the scrub is also very sturdy and travel– friendly.
The scrub has a thick creamy texture. It appears to be very grainy but when you use it you will find that it is not at all harsh on the skin. It is not too course and thus it gently exfoliates and get rid of the dead skin. The soya oil and babassu oil present in the scrub ensure that the skin remains soft ans smooth and of course smelling peachy πŸ˜€
As I have already mentioned and as the name suggest (duh!!!) , the scrub smells of fresh peaches. The smell is quite strong, it lingers for a while and then dissapears.
So lets go through the yay’s and nay’s list for this product
  • Has just the right amount of abrasion to remove dead skin without being too harsh to the skin
  • Doesn’t dry out the skin
  • The packaging is quite sturdy and travel friendly
  • The fruity peachy smell can be a bit strong for some people…personally I don’t mind it
  • It is definitely expensive.
I definitely love this scrub. It smells and looks like yummy peach yogurt and does everything it promises.
