VLCC Enchanting Eyes Kajal: Review

I am one of those kajal addicts who get “Are you unwell?” question if they skip wearing a kajal for a single day s when I run out of kajal it is pretty much end of the  world situation in the household. Luckily, the last time I was faced with the kajal ends abruptly situation, I received the VLCC Enchanting Eyes Kajal in my mail.

The VLCC Enchanting Eyes Kajal comes in a basic black plastic retractable packaging. The packaging is pretty basic but quite sturdy so you don’t have to worry about carrying it around. I also love retractable packaging because one they avoid wastage and second, I don’t have to worry about carrying around a sharpener.

Texture wise, the kajal is pretty creamy so you have to be a little gentle during application otherwise the tip will break off. The texture ensures easy application without any tugging or pulling whatsoever and it glides on like butter even on the eyelids.

The kajal has a matte finish and even though the kajal not one of the darkest kajals I have used, the color pay off is pretty good. Pigmentation is pretty decent and you get a nice layer of color in a single swipe. I was a little unsure about the staying power of the kajal because it was soo creamy and I have oily lids but to my surprise, it did not budge or fade for a 4-5 hours.

Overall, I think it a pretty decent option when it comes to a drugstore kajal. The quality is great, color pay off is pretty good and the kajal stays on for a good amount of time. Another great thing about it is that it doesn’t irritate my eyes which are pretty sensitive so if you share the same problem then it could prove to be a solution to “All kajals make my eyes water” woes.
