VLCC Matte Look Sun Screen Cream SPF 30/PA+++: Review

I recently did a mini haul video on Snapchat (@colorsandmylife) for this beach vacation I am going to around the new year and it got me thinking about other stuff I need to add to my beach bag. On the top of the list was definitely a sunscreen because the last time I forgot one, I was left with so much sunburn that the better half of my vacation went into tending to them. I have used alot of sunscreen in 2016 but the one I am addicted to right now is the VLCC Matte Look Sun Screen Cream SPF 30/PA+++.

Price: Rs 315 for 100 gms

The VLCC Matte Look Sun Screen Cream SPF 30/PA+++ comes in a squeeze tube packaging with a flip-top cap. I have absolutely no issues with the packaging, the cap stays in place so the tube is quite travel friendly as well.

The sunscreen has a very creamy texture but it is very light so it doesn’t feel sticky and spreads easily. It blends well but does leave a whitish caste behind for a few minutes before it gets absorbed. I was a little hesitant about the texture of the product because usually they end up making me look like a grease ball but this sun screen gave me a matte finish…yup you read that right…I couldn’t believe it either but my skin looks matte and glowy when I apply it.

The formula is non-sticky and it is definitely one of the lightest sun screen I have used and it keeps my skin moisturized so I am able to use it instead of my moisturizer as well. The matte finish helps me double up the product as a primer as well.

Overall, this sunscreen is definitely a favorite and I am addicted to it. It works so well with my skin which is not something I can say about most of the other sunscreens I have used. The texture is really light so my skin can doesn’t feel clogged, the matte finish is such a huge thing for someone like me who has an oil rig for a face and the price tag makes my wallet super happy. Would totally recommend you try it of you are looking for a good sunscreen and this one is definitely going in my beach bag.
