Za True White Exfoliating Clay : Review

I wanted to try the brand Za for a very long time because there was alot of buzz about it in the last year. Finally a few months back I ended trying my first product…their new serum and my experience was so good that I knew I had to try other products from the brand. The next thing I decided to try was the Za True White Exfoliating Clay. I was so excited to try it that I incorporated it into my skin care regime right away so I have been using it almost thrice a week for the past whole month and today I am going to share my experience with all of you 🙂
Price: Rs 399 for 100 gms
What the company claims about the product:
This Whitening Clay mask instantly exfoliates excess surface cells, removes impurities around pores, absorbs sebum, and instantly imparts translucent, glowing and radiant skin
The packaging is pretty standard. Keeping in tune with the name of the range, Za True White Exfoliating Clay comes in a white squeezy tube with a flip top cap. I like the simple and sturdy packaging and have no complains or issues with it what so ever.
The texture of the product is a little thick but creamy with soft bead like granules that do the exfoliation. I like how I don’t have to struggle to spread the product on my face as the creamy texture takes care of that.  The exfoliators are very gentle in nature so you can  use it to exfoliate your skin multiple times a week however if you have serious blackheads/whitehead issues then you might find this to be a little ineffective.
I like to apply it on my face and let it dry for 10-15 minutes. Once it is dry, I wet it with a little bit of water and then massage my skin with it while removing it. After every use, I have noticed that the mask does gets rid of the flakiness around my nose area and help in controlling excessive oil without leaving the skin dry or stretchy. However I am not sure how effective it is going to be when the weather becomes humid and I would need some deep cleansing action for my skin.
Overall, I like this product because it does what it claims and is quite affordable but I do feel it’s more of a brightening and oil control clay mask then a deep cleansing one. The exfoliating granules are an added bonus that help get rid of dead skin leaving your skin clean and fresh. It is perfect if you have sensitive skin but I don’t think it will work to well if you have pore based issues.
